The exhibition will provide a unique opportunity
to see some of the manuscripts and first prints
of Dvořák´s spi- ritual compositions, which are not
normally accessible to the general public.
There will also be a special presentation of
the autographs of the Stabat Mater,
Requiem, St. Lud- mila
and Te Deum.
Thanks to the Tribute to A. Dvořák 2004 project these
autographs will be restored and thus their value
will be preserved for future generations.

The composer´s artistic development and the
genesis of individual compositions will be
illustrated by examples of his correspondence.
His deep religious faith will by shown by
various personal objects. Period photographs
will present the places of premieres. The
reception of Dvořák´s spiritual works will
be reflected in programmes and reviews.
Wide context and the spiritual climate
of the time will be rendered in selected
works of art.

This exhibition will take place under the
personal patronage of cardinal Miloslav Vlk, Archbishop of Prague, Primate of Bohemia.
The exhibiton will take place in the Dining rooms of the Municipal House and will
be open from May 3, 2004 till June 3, 2004 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The exhibition will be open during the festival days of the
International Music Festival „Prague Spring“ (till June, 6th 2004)
and visitors of the festival can see it during the intervals of the concerts.
