Serenade in E major for String Orchestra, Op. 22, written in 1875, proves that. The Serenade emanates the romantic feeling of a summer
evening, gallantness, a dancy tone, a passionate profession of love, as well as a virtuoso postlude. The piece resounding under the baton
of Dvořák´s grand-son, the internationally acclaimed violinist Josef Suk, will create a magnificent arch over time when the past will meet
the present. And that, too, is the meaning of the "Tribute to Antonín Dvořák 2004".
